We keep it simple — here’s a general guide to how Support at Home funding works.
How your budget is worked out
Support at Home has eight ongoing funding classifications, with the level of funding based on a person’s assessed care needs.
Funding is allocated through quarterly budgets and can be used for approved services identified through the person’s aged care assessment and support plan.
Good to know
- Eight ongoing funding classifications
- Budgets are allocated quarterly
- 10% of your quarterly budget is allocated to care management
- Unspent funds can generally carry over up to $1,000 or 10% of the quarterly budget, whichever is greater
What about costs and contributions?
